These classes will be located in Moose Jaw at the library!
Materials, tools, and sewing machines are provided. All participants will take home their finished projects at the end of the class.
No previous sewing experience is required to attend these classes.
Class Descriptions:
5:15-6:45 Bracelets: This class is open to kids of any age but the pace of the class is geared more towards kids ages 5-9. I recommend that a parent helper stay for ages 5 or 6. We will be creating some fun fabric reversible bracelets.
7:00-8:45 Pocket pillow case: This class is open to adults and children aged 10 and up. In this class we will make a travel pillow case with a pocket for your favorite book or a stuffed animal. We will practice some design skills and basic sewing machine skills. This is a great class for a beginner but those with experience are also welcome!
Little siblings are always welcome to tag along for any class if that works best for your family. Children under 5 are not able to participate in sewing, but they can be present with an adult!
Cancellation policy: A full refund will be provided if you cancel with at least 48hrs notice of the class or if on shorter notice I can find a replacement participant. A full refund will also be provided if I need to cancel for any reason (illness, not enough participants, bad weather).
Late policy: If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, you will not be able to participate and you will not receive a refund. This policy ensures all participants are well prepared for safety while using sewing machines and tools.
