My classes are focused on having fun while learning skills that will help you continue your creative journey at home. Classes have a general theme however each class will be guided by your own interests.
The family class is a great option for families looking to learn together. In your lesson we will create a project that interests your family while also learning some valuable skills that can be applied to future projects!
This class has a minimum 90 minute session length. Younger children may lose interest a bit before that but this often works out ok as they transition to doing another activity in the home while the older participants finish up their project.
While the possibilities are endless, some of the project ideas that can be great for family classes include: various kinds of bags, pillow covers, clothing items such as pants or skirts, a sweater for your pet, hats, aprons, placemats, and dress up clothes.
Materials, tools, and sewing machines are provided as needed. We can also use supplies that you have on hand. For projects that require large material quantities, there may be an extra fabric charge.
Lessons can be held in your own home or in a meeting space. Lesson dates/times are flexible.
